The beginning
Our story began in January 1907, when we opened our inaugural business bank account at the Midland Bank in Melton Mowbray. This marked the start of a remarkable journey characterised by resilience and innovation. Initially, we established ourselves as reliable hauliers and coal merchants. In the 1960s, we strategically expanded our operations to include quarrying, recognising the increasing demand for high-quality materials in construction. By the 1980s, we had further diversified our offerings by launching a dedicated plant hire service, enabling us to support clients with essential machinery and equipment.
