WHAT IS GRANITE DUST?
Granite dust is a fine gritty aggregate, also known as grano dust or crusher run.
The material is produced by passing granite or limestone through a crushing machine to create the dust byproduct. The screening size will determine the exact texture of the Granite Dust.
WHERE IS GRANITE DUST USED?
Construction Use: Granite dust is used widely within the construction sector and is suitable for paths, driveways and roads as a binding material. This aggregate is also suitable for paving and under artificial grass and mixing with cement to make fine concrete.
Domestic Use: Granite dust can be used as a setting bed for stone pavers. It is strong enough to support the weight of stone pavers and can create a flat surface. The stone dust can also be used to fill between pavers.
Agriculture Use: The agricultural sector uses granite dust, as it increases soil fertility and changes the soil’s pH level.
